Manchester City are now reportedly at odds with one of their key stars who is said to have already agreed to join a new club in Saudi Arabia.
The 2022/23 UEFA Champions League winners have been busy in the transfer market, having announced the signing of Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea this week, just one day after their former captain Ilkay Gundogan was confirmed as an FC Barcelona player.

More recently, the club submitted a bid for West Ham United star Declan Rice but later pulled out of the race for his signature, with the England international now said to be on the verge of joining Arsenal in a record deal instead.
In terms of outgoings, reports suggest that more players could depart, with Kyle Walker, Aymeric Laporte, Bernardo Silva and Joao Cancelo having all been linked with several clubs across Europe.
However, it now appears that one player has taken a step closer to actually parting ways with the Premier League champions on the back of their historic continental treble win this past season.
According to transfer expert Rudy Galetti, Riyad Mahrez has accepted a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabian giants Al Ahli after fulfilling his dream of winning the Champions League earlier this month.
The Jeddah-based outfit is said to be pushing for an agreement with the English giants to sign the winger but to little success so far, with City understood to have turned them down in two previous official meetings between the two parties.
It is further claimed that this has now caused some serious tension between the Algeria international and the Manchester outfit, who do not want him to leave.
Mahrez is thought to have accepted a long-term offer worth €50 million (R1 billion) altogether, and representatives of the Arab team are not willing to give up just yet after scheduling a third meeting with Pep Guardiola's side.
Should the move materialise, the 32-year-old will join up with former Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, who completed a switch to the club formerly managed by Pitso Mosimane on Wednesday night.
