It has been another productive week for Saudi Pro League clubs, having completed the signings of former Chelsea duo Kalidou Koulibaly and Edouard Mendy, while Hakim Ziyech's arrival is imminent, according to reports.

With a growing appetite for more high-profile signings, Al Nassr are now targeting Uruguay star Edinson Cavani to lead the line alongside club captain Ronaldo, according to TUTTOmercatoWEB.

Edinson Cavani registered seven goals and 2 assist
Edinson Cavani registered seven goals and 2 assists for Valencia in 2022/23, according to Transfermarkt.

The two strikers spent one season together at Old Trafford in the 2021/22 campaign, playing together in 14 matches, although their strike partnership resulted in just one joint goal participation, per Transfermarkt.

It is also claimed the Riyadh club have already initiated contact with the Valencia centre-forward, who has a contract until June 2024 with the Spanish outfit.

Talks are expected to progress swiftly as the 36-year-old wants to terminate his contract at the Mestalla after netting just seven times in 28 games, according to a separate report by AS.
