Amakhosi have since announced that the deal of defender Sifiso Hlanti's has been extended by one-year, with a one-year option.

The news of Hlanti's stay was followed by the announcement of Alexander Cole's departure from Kaizer Chiefs Village after reportedly coming to a settlement agreement with the club.
Alexander endured a frustrating season with Amakhosi, riddled with injuries, as the 33-year-old made just seven appearances across all competitions.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi also announced on Wednesday night that Molefi Ntseki – who was the club's head of Technical and Youth Development, would be taking over from Arthur Zwane as head coach, with Zwane and Dillon Shepperd to serve as Ntseki's assistants.
