New club 'makes' sensational €300m bid for Mbappe

A new club has now reportedly submitted a record-breaking €300 million (R5.9 billion) bid for Kylian Mbappe.

A sensational new development has emerged in the Mbappe transfer saga, with a new club said to have entered the picture.

The 24-year-old's relationship with PSG appears to have deteriorated drastically over the past month, with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi said to have issued an ultimatum to the player, demanding that he either triggers a one-year extension clause soon or he will be sold in this window.

This has since led the forward's omission from PSG's pre-season tour of Japan and South Korea, with the Parisian giants believed to be convinced the French superstar has agreed terms with Real Madrid already.

However, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Saudi giants Al Hilal have now submitted formal €300 million bid to PSG to begin talks for the France captain.

It is believed that offer comprises a one-year contract with a salary of €700 million (R13.9 billion), and would also allow him to join his desired club Real for free in June 2024.

It is also claimed no negotiations have been initiated with the player so far, though, despite having been left in France to train separately from the first team.

Al Hilal offered a similar sum to Lionel Messi prior to him snubbing the proposal in favour of a surprise switch to Inter Miami.

Although the Saudi Pro League outfit has now put the biggest offer on the table for Mbappe's signature, the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, INter Milan and even FC Barcelona are also thought to be considering a sensational swoop for the attacker.

PSG captain Marquinhos recently shared his thoughts on the matter, telling reporters: "It is a delicate question. Kylian is an exceptional player, very strong but the decision goes beyond us and it is with management that we have to see it.

"We always want to evolve with the right players. I hope that a good solution will be found so that he comes back to the group and helps us this season."
