Polokwane City is reportedly on the verge of signing veteran striker Ndumiso Mabena who is believed to have made an immediate impact during first-team training.
Mabena has been involved in first-team training sessions with newly-promoted Polokwane City with the view of securing a permanent deal with Rise and Shine.

The former Royal AM striker is currently a free agent after parting ways with Orlando Pirates at the end of last season.
According to a source close to Polokwane City, the club has offered Mabena a one-year contract after impressing the club's technical team.
"Mabena has made a huge impression. He is one player that lives a clean life and is dedicated to football," the source tells KickOff.
"He has been well-received by everyone at the club.
"He brings his leadership skills and experience to the team."
Meanwhile, Polokwane City have also extended the contract of Lucky Baloyi for an additional season.
Baloyi played a key role in guiding Polokwane to automatic promotion to the DStv Premiership.
