With a new striker set to join Manchester United this weekend, manager Erik ten Hag has now reportedly set his sights on signing a Real Madrid star.
So far in this window, the Red Devils have brought in midfielder Mason Mount and goalkeeper Andre Onana, while Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund is expected to be unveiled by the club this weekend.

Ten Hag is reportedly still keen on bolstering his midfield department as a number of United first-teamers are expected to be on their way out in the coming weeks.
Spanish publication Sport has reported that the Dutch tactician has now asked the Red Devils hierarchy to make the move to sign Los Blancos midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, whose future at Los Blancos remains uncertain.
Questions have been raised about the France international's future in the Spanish capital after the arrival of Jude Bellingham, who joined the club in a massive €103 million (R2.1 billion) transfer from Borussia Dortmund last month.
However, the Red Devils would face competition for his signature from Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, who have reportedly already made contact with Real over the possibility of signing the Frenchman.
Bavarians manager Thomas Tuchel is reportedly a big admirer of the 23-year-old midfielder, who made only 24 starts in LALIGA last season.
The reports adds that if Bellingham's arrival in Madrid does affect Tchouameni's minutes, a loan move to a club outside of the Spanish top flight could be a more realistic option as he looks to get regular minutes after a shaky 2022/23 campaign.
