FC Barcelona have reportedly made a final decision on a potential move for Neymar after it emerged Ousmane Dembele is set to join Paris Saint-Germain.
Catalans manager Xavi Hernandez confirmed this week that the French forward has decided he wants to join the Ligue 1 champions with one year left on his current deal.

Xavi has already spoken about how Dembele's departure will weaken Barcelona going into the new season, although reports from Spain claim that PSG offered Neymar as part of the €50 million deal.
However, Spanish publication Sport have now reported that Blaugrana have rejected to chance to sign the Brazilian forward on a season-long loan.
While Neymar has reportedly been keen on a return to the Camp Nou, Xavi has recently stated the former Barcelona player is not in their plans.
"I'm surprised… he's not in our plan. I really like Ney as a friend, but we have different priorities," he told Jijantes in June.
The report adds that while Xavi is still aware of Neymar's quality, he feels the Brazilian's presence would not be beneficial to the dressing room, especially with his antics off the field.
Neymar is currently in camp with PSG side on their pre-season tour of Japan after recovering from an ankle injury that his 2022/2023 season prematurely.
