Real Madrid are reportedly ready to make a staggering €180 million (R3.7 billion) offer to Paris Saint-Germain for Kylian Mbappe, but will do so only if a certain condition is satisfied.
Mbappe's future remains uncertain, having spent several weeks isolated from PSG's first team.
The club's executives recently decided that the player would not be a part of the playing squad while his contract situation lingers on, with the duration of his involuntary absence unconfirmed, as things stand.
PSG have maintained their stance on the matter: either Mbappe triggers the one-year contract extension he has been offered, or he will be sold before this transfer window closes.
The stand-off has dragged on for more than a month now, with the 24-year-old having stayed silent on the issue since his exclusion from the side's pre-season preparations.
Real are widely expected to be the France captain's next destination, although they are yet to demonstrate any rush to sign the electric forward.

The Spanish club's stance on securing his signature has changed a few times already, with it previously being reported that they were only interested in tying him down to a pre-contract agreement in January 2024 and signing him as a free agent in July thereafter.
It is said the LALIGA giants have since become sceptical about waiting that long as they might have to compete with other clubs next year for Mbappe's signature, bearing in mind that he infamously snubbed them at the last minute when he signed an extension with PSG in May 2022.
It is now said that Los Blancos are preparing to make a massive €180 million bid to PSG for his signature, but not before one condition is satisfied.
According L'Equipe, Carlo Ancelotti's side will only sanction the lofty offer if Mbappe publicly states that he wants to leave the Parc des Princes.

It is further claimed that Real would even be prepared to increase their bid to €200 million (R4.1 billion) – believed to be PSG's desired price tag for the France captain – if necessary, but this will depend on whether or not Mbappe does the above.
