2023 FIFA Women's World Cup champion Jenni Hermoso is now reportedly set to take action against the president of the Spanish FA after he now-infamously kissed her on the podium last Sunday.
The FC Barcelona star has now issued a new statement signalling an intent to take action against Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) president Luis Rubiales after he grabbed her by the face and kissed her on the lips during the medals ceremony following Spain's triumph over England last weekend.

The uncomfortable moment has since drawn huge backlash in Spain, in particular, with several politicians and advocacy groups having since called for Rubiales' resignation from office.
On Monday, the RFEF chief issued a public apology, back-tracking on his previous comments claiming that it was just a kiss between two friends and that those who thought more of it were "idiots and stupid people".
Hermoso initially said on an Instagram live stream that she did not like what Rubiales did, before a statement by the federation later quoted the player as saying: "It was a totally spontaneous mutual gesture because of the immense joy that winning a World Cup brings."
It has since been reported that the forward did not say what was indicated in that RFEF statement, and she has now put out one of her own via FUTPRO, a union that represents female footballers in Spain.
It read: "My union, FUTPRO, in co-ordination with my agency, TMJ, are taking care of defending my interests and being the interlocutors on this matter."
FUTPRO insists that Rubiales committed "acts that should never go unpunished" and vowed to push for the adoption of "measures to protect the players against actions we believe are unacceptable".
The union added: "We ask the RFEF to implement the necessary protocols and to ensure the rights of our players and adopt exemplary measures.
"It is essential that our national team is represented by figures that project its values of equality and respect in all areas.
"It is necessary to continue advancing in the fight for equality, a fight that our female players have led with determination, bringing us to the position we are in today."
