BREAKING: Man City announce new attacker!

Manchester City have now confirmed their third signing of the window, an attacker!

The Citizens have completed a deal that sees skilful winger Jeremy Doku join them from Stade Rennais for a reported fee of £55 million (R1.3 billion).

The two clubs are reported to have been in negotiations since the start of August, with City believed to be long-time admirers of the player.

City have already bolstered their squad with the additions of midfielder Mateo Kovacic and centre-back Josko Gvardiol.

Doku can now be added to that list, and he is tipped to be the replacement for the departed Riyad Mahrez, who joined the Saudi Pro League's Al Ahli earlier in the window.

The 21-year-old will be expected to bring trickery and creativity to the City flanks, having made a name for himself since joining Rennes, where he amassed 12 goals and 10 assists in 92 appearances, in 2020. He has also represented the senior Belgium national team 14 times already, scoring twice.
