The Bafana Bafana backline certainly looks stacked but one thing that is also for certain is that they definitely packing style as well! Here's a look.
The story
South African national team boss Hugo Broos selected eight defenders for the upcoming international break where they will play neighbours Namibia and DR Congo. These include Grant Kekana, Sydney Mobbie, Thabiso Monyane, Innocent Maela, Nkosinathi Sibisi, Aubrey Modiba, Siyanda Xulu, and Mothobi Mvala.
Although Xulu, Mobbie, and Mvala are Instagram shy, five of the aforementioned defenders are definitely not afraid to look good and flaunt it. For starters, Maela appears to be the guy who often goes for the gentleman look, as he tends to go for a neat and tidy, complemented by some of adidas freshest new collection.
Modiba is also an adidas-endorsed player, thus he and Maela probably share a few items in common. The Mamelodi Sundowns full-back, however, seems to be much more expressive with his style is unafraid to rock matching adidas tops and bottoms. His Instagram is littered with some of adidas' freshest collection, including Beyonce's Ivy Park style catalogue.
Another Downs player, Grant Kekana, is also a vibrant character with the ability to look stylish across various themes. In June this year, he was featured on NOUNOUCHE magazine's Kings Queens of Sport 11th issue, where he lined up alongside Bucs star Kermit Erasmus, cricket star Themba Bavuma, and South African netball icon Bongiwe Msomi. Nkosinathi Sibisi is also a capable star when it comes to drip, as he boasts some lively clothing items including a Comme des Garcons crewneck.
