With yet another technical addition at Chippa United, concerns are that Morgan Mammila's head coach job is there for the taking by Vusumuzi Vilakazi.
Vilakazi has joined Chippa United as head technical director after his shock resignation from his co-coaching job at Golden Arrows where he spent two decades.

What made Vilakazi's departure surprising was that bis combination with Mabhuti Khenyeza as co-coaches was working wonders with Arrows in second place.
In moving to Chippa, 'Kanu' will get an improved package compared to what he was earning at Arrows and will be tasked with the club's development structures and working closely with the senior team where he will offer support to head coach Morgan Mammila.
Based on what has happened in the past, Mammila will have reason to worry about job security after winning once in six games in his second spell at the helm.
"This planting of technical directors/ advisors or whatever you want to call it is the biggest nonsense in football," says veteran coach Walter Rautmann.
"If you are a trusted coach, what do you need a technical director/advisor for?
"Pep (Guardiola), (Mauricio) Pochettino or (Jurgen) Klopp would never allow technical advisors on top of them but work with assistant coaches.
"If you are bringing a technical director, it only means they don't trust you as the head coach to do the job to their satisfaction otherwise you don't bring in a director who is a coach on top of a coach.
"Did Mammila agree to having someone coming in to work as technical director?
"I don't think so.
"This is a sign that they don't trust Mammila anymore at Chippa.

"This shows me that these clubs who bring technical director are already planning to make the technical director the future coach.
"That is guaranteed otherwise you wouldn't bring a technical director/advisor or whatever you want to call it.
"In my opinion bringing a technical director looks bad for any coach.
"Why would Vilakazi leave a coaching job at another PSL club like Arrows to work with juniors in between what they say is working closely with the senior team at Chippa?

"It is obvious that Vilakazi has been promised the head coach job and is just waiting for Chippa to lose a few games before taking over.
"Maybe Mammila can then go back to being a top police officer again because the crime in this country is high," says Rautmann who has previously stated that Mammila is taking chances in professional football considering that he arrived as an administrator.
Rautmann highlighted that the professional game needs coaches with badges instead of merely making appointments.
