Ghana managed to hold off a stubborn Central African Republic to record a 2-1 win and qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations on Thursday night.
Before the match, it was all to play for the two nations in Group E thus the Black Stars felt an early set-back with Louis Mafouta making the breakthrough.
The Black Stars did carve a way back shortly before the halftime interval through none other than West Ham United's new midfield signing Mohamed Kudus.
With the intensity set even, the host went on to claim the winner after Ernest Nuamah struck with two minutes to go as the Black Stars marched on.
Angola 0-0 Madagascar
Angola also made sure of their ticket to Ivory Coast next January through a second-spot finish in Group E after playing to a goalless draw against Madagascar in their final group clash.
Regarding Madagascar, the 2019 participants were unable to get a win on board and finished rock-bottom in the group.
Tunisia 3-0 Botswana
Tunisia edged Botswana 3-0 to stabilise top spot in Group J and concluded their qualifying journey on a high on Thursday night.
An own-goal from Alford Velaphi gave the Carthage Eagles a head start around the midway quarter of the second half.
Tunisia continued to show dominance in all departments and got a second in the final eight minutes through dangerman Youssef Msakni, who went on to complete his brace in the latter stages.
Niger 0-2 Uganda
Uganda finished their qualification campaign in Group F on a positive note after recording a 2-0 win over Niger in Marrakech.
The Cranes needed just opening quarter of the match to go ahead as Aziz Kayondo pounced to leave the host squarely on the back-foot.
With halftime fast approaching, the Cranes doubled their advantage when Joseph Ochaya made complete use of a telling delivery to find the net.
Despite ending the qualifying campaign with a win, it wasn't enough as Tanzania had done their job against Algeria.
Algeria 0-0 Tanzania
Algerian dropped points for the first time in their qualifying phase following a goalless draw against Tanzania in the other clash in Group F.
Having already qualified for the finals, Algeria finished their campaign unbeaten, which included an impressive five wins and one draw.
The Taifa Stars, meanwhile, held their own for a creditable point in the end, which sealed second spot and a spot at next year's tournament.
