Paul Pogba's agent has now spoken out after it was revealed that the player had failed an anti-doping test.
The 30-year-old has been provisionally suspended after testing positive for banned substance testosterone following the club's Serie A clash with Udinese at the beginning of the campaign, with it believed he could face a ban of up to four years as a result.

"The National Antidoping Court has determined to provisionally suspend Paul Labile Pogba for violating articles 2.1 and 2.2; The decision has been made after the National Antidoping Court received a document on this matter from the National Antidoping Prosecutors," a statement by the organisation read, according to LiveSoccerTV.
The Bianconeri have also released a statement confirming what was communicated to them on the matter.
"Juventus Football Club announces that today the player Paul Labile Pogba received a precautionary suspension order from the National Anti-Doping Tribunal following the adverse outcome of the analyzes carried out on 20 August 2023. The Company reserves the right to evaluate," Juve said via its official website.

The former Manchester United star's agent, Rafaela Pimenta, has since insisted, though, that it was not the player's intention to violate any laws, with the banned substance in question understood to be used by some to help in recovery.
"We are waiting for the counter analysis and until then we can't say anything," she said, as per journalist Simon Stone h/t Goal.
"The certain thing is that Paul Pogba never wanted to break the rules."
Pogba's camp now have three days to respond to the failed test.

The France star has been plagued by injuries since making his return to Turin from United in 2022, and has also had personal struggles off the pitch too, having been embroiled in an extortion plot involving one of his brothers, a situation that reportedly had him contemplating retiring from football.
