Sekhukhune United head coach Brandon Truter says his charges deserved to get something from the game after a 2-1 defeat to Kaizer Chiefs.
Elias Mokwana broke the deadlock for Sekhukhune on the stroke of half-time but Chiefs replied just before the hour-mark through Edson Castillo and Edmilson Dove found the winner for Amakhosi with 15 minutes remaining.
Truter says they only made two mistakes that led to goals but other than that they were tactically superior over Chiefs and had more clear-cut chances.

"Two mistakes from us, one from the goalkeeper, one we had a clearance and then there was a conversation between my players they put it back in, second phase we got punished," Truter told SuperSport after the game.
"Other than that we were a far better team, tactically we were superior. We knew what we wanted to do. We allowed them into certain areas of the field and then we had to bring the counter-attack here and there.
"We can improve technically but we were not at our best today by far, yet we went toe to toe with them. We were organized, the structure organized, in defence and in attack as well.
"We could have got something from the game, the chances we had in the first-half, (Chibuike) Ohizu through on goal didn't take a shot at goal and then towards the end (Kgomotso) Mosadi missing an open post, so ja we went toe to toe, we were not at our best (but) I think we did better, we deserved more definitely, based on the chances.
"We had more clear-cut chances tonight, so I feel for the boys but ja we move on. We want to improve game by game."
Truter went on and emphasized that there were definitely not the lesser side against Chiefs and that the goals Amakhosi scored they didn't create, they were due to their lapse in concentration.
"We were far superior tactically, what the guys think outside, in the studio, in the stands, we have a plan, they have their opinion about what we did here tonight, it was about us, whoever says we were lesser is playing a guessing game but keep guessing we'll improve on this," he went on.
"It's lapse in concentration, it's transition, they didn't create it. That's from our concentration level and technically we should improve on our build-up. But decision-making, individual errors, I feel for the boys, they should have got something here tonight."
