An Inter Miami star has now stunningly revealed that his wife quit university so that he could play alongside Lionel Messi in the United States.
Since joining the MLS side in July this year, the Argentine superstar has been showered with praise by his teammates, with many relishing playing alongside arguably the greatest footballer of all time.

Messi has been commended for his remarkable impact on and off the pitch in Miami, with the club's results having improved as he guided them to a maiden Leagues Cup title a few months ago, and although they did fail to qualify for the MLS play-offs, things have also been very positive from a commercial stand-point.
For one particular player, playing alongside the seven-time Ballon d'Or was an opportunity he just could not miss, with his wife having dropped out of varsity in order to move to the US with him.
Facundo Farias joined the Florida outfit in July from Argentinian side CA Colon in a deal worth €5 million (R100 million), with his arrival coming just over a week after Messi was unveiled.
"She was studying her major but we had to move here," the 21-year-old said.
"She wanted to kill me!
"But I told her, 'We're going to play with Messi!'
"... You have to enjoy (Messi) as much as you can.
"He's the best in the game. He proved that. So just enjoy him and learn from him whenever possible."It's a unique situation to be next to him. He's a great teammate and he's so important to us.
"To have players like him, Sergio [Busquets], and Jordi [Alba] on your team, these are players who have had incredible careers.
"Everyone respects them and that's a plus for us. I'm learning so much from Leo and from everyone else."
