In recent windows, they have signed several players on free deals, including current squad members Andreas Christensen, Ilkay Gundogan and Inigo Martinez.
In between those transfers, there have also been some room for big-money arrivals, such as the likes of Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski from Leeds United and Bayern Munich, respectively.
Nevertheless, the Spanish giants appear to have struck a balance in managing their transfers, and according to reports, the Blaugrana are now considering the acquisition of another three stars.
According to German outlet Bild, Barca could sign Spanish star Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig. The attacker has reportedly informed the Bundesliga club he would like to rejoin the Catalan giants, having been groomed in the LALIGA club's La Masia academy growing up.
His father Miquel Olmo and his agent Andy Bara are said to have been in talks with the Blaugrana to discuss when would be the right time for the 25-year-old to return to the Camp Nou, with his deal at Leipzig understood to have a release clause of €60 million (R1.2 billion).
Another star on Barcelona's radar is said to be Brighton Hove Albion attacker Kaoru Mitoma. Mundo Deportivo claims that Xavi Hernandez's camp are impressed with the Japan international, particularly with his ability to break down defences from his position on the left wing. It is believed no move has been made as yet, but it is speculated that Ansu Fati, who has been loaned to Brighton for the season, could potentially be used in the bargaining if Barca are seriously keen to sign Mitoma.
Lastly, Fichajes journalist Enric Canyellas has claimed that Barcelona have reached a total agreement for the transfer of Athletic Club star Nico Williams, with the Spain winger having reportedly been closely followed by the Catalans for months. The 21-year-old will be out of contract in Bilbao in June 2024, but that deal could be jeopardised in the event that he agrees a new contract with his current club.
