Ntseki: 'If you don't get results, you should be ready to be fired'

WATCH: Head coach Molefi Ntseki expressed his disappointment with the amount of patience shown by supporters after chaotic erupted at FNB Stadium as Kaizer Chiefs were knocked out of the Carling Knockout by AmaZulu.

Chiefs suffered a 1-0 defeat to Usuthu at FNB Stadium on Saturday courtesy of a late Taariq Fielies goal. Fuming supporters hurled objects at Ntseki as law enforcement hurried the former Bafana coach off the field after the match - an incident that happens for the the third time this season.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Ntseki admitted that a poor run of results could lead to the getting the sack, but called for more patience from supporters.

Asked directly how confident he was to keep his place as head coach, a visibly annoyed Ntseki would not be drawn into the conversation.

"I don't think that's a question that has to be answered now, because I'm employed by the club. we have technical conversations. We look into incidents like this and we have meetings to discuss what are the possibilities going forward," Ntseki said.

"But for you to ask a question to say how do I see my future at Kaizer Chiefs, I don't it is the platform for us to entertain that question."

Chiefs take on Golden Arrows on Saturday at Mpumalanga Stadium.
