One of the continent's biggest clubs were left stuck at an airport for six hours ahead of their do-or-die African Football League encounter on Wednesday, in what has been described as a "deliberate plot".
Nigeria's Enyimba FC were left stranded at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos due to Moroccan officials not giving them the authorisation to land in Casablanca ahead of their all-important quarter-final second-leg clash against Wydad AC.

The first leg ended with the Moroccan outfit gaining a 1-0 advantage in the tie, courtesy of Yahya Jabraine's successfully converted penalty in the 39th minute.
As they get ready to once again lock horns in the second leg, Enyimba's preparations were interrupted when the team were made to return to their hotel after spending more than six hours on an airplane, waiting for authorisation.
The club's media manager, David Orji has insisted that Moroccan authorities were using "unfair tactics" in a statement, as per Premium Times.
It is further reported that the Nigerian club's management see the incident as a "deliberate plot" to frustrate the side ahead of their AFL encounter, and have lodged an official complaint with CAF.
Meanwhile, Enyimba head coach Finidi George has expressed his confidence in their ability to upstage the Moroccan outfit in the second leg.
"My team is prepared. Having watched my team play against Akwa United [in the NPFL], the chances we created gives me that confidence to go into this game," he said via the club's official website.
"We know it's not going to be an easy match. They are a formidable side. They are a good side. They have all the experience, but I think we have players that can match them.
"We would do our best to make sure that we win. That's going to be our thinking.
"The players are prepared physically and mentally."
