Breaking down Barca star's insane R44k & R26k outfits!

This starlet wore an outfit worth over R44 000 on one occasion and on another, he put together one that costed around R26 000! Check out the breakdown!

Whether it's Dolce and Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, or Nike, FC Barcelona's Lamine Yamal has worn them all! Not only that, he managed to bring some of these brands together to make outstanding — and quite expensive — outfits.

The starlet has showed outstanding promise on the field, and off the field it is the same story! On a few occasions, the teenager turned heads with his immaculate outfits and in some ways it shows that he can handle being on the biggest stages, playing for one of the world's biggest clubs.

These days, the pressures that come with being a professional footballer follows the athlete off of the pitch. When they walk down the tunnel to the dressing room, they would probably like for the spotlight to remain on the empty field. However, it doesn't. Whether they are eating at a fancy restaurant after a game, they're at a nightclub trying to unwind while being in the company of friends, or walking about doing their grocery shopping, the spotlight is always on them.

So, footballers now must be prepared for the attention, and all of the eyes that will constantly be on them. With their media training and all of the other things they have to go through, being a celebrity has become a big aspect of professional footballers. After all, they're seen in the same light. In the same way children look up to musicians and actors, they look up to footballers as well. They become a source of hope, inspiration and motivation. They live the dreams that countless of young people aspire to.

If they are celebrities, then they need to look the part, and Yamal certainly does! On one occasion, he wore the dream urban outfit that consisted of a knitted sweater that was a product of a collaboration between Nike and Stussy.

At first glance, it looks like any other sweater knitted by whoever. However, if you look deeper, it's beautifully detailed. However, this detail comes at a price. According to Court Order, it costs around R7 000 to wear the knitwear that Yamal sported.

He paired the sweater with a black pants but what really stole the show was his extravagant pair of white and black Louis Vuitton Leather trainers that costs around $1 100 (R20 400), according to Vestiaire Collective.

His fantastic on-field displays earned him a contract extension which the Barcelona wonderkid signed in the most stylish manner imaginable!

He kept outfit quite plain, but clean... and expensive. He decided to wear an outfit that consisted of a black pants, a sleek pair of white shoes, and a black t-shirt that was covered with a very special jacket.

The jacket was special not only because of its price, but because of the brand: Dolce Gabbana. The price does make it an item to be proud of owning. According to Far Fetch, the sleek jacket costs $2 445 (R45 000).

That price is that steep because the jacket consists of a 100% rayon lining and is described as an "exemplar of meticulous Italian tailoring". And people will know exactly which brand you're wearing because the label's initials, in tonal embroidery, can be seen on the front pocket.

Football matters:

Yamal made his first Barcelona appearance in April last year when he appeared off the bench against Real Betis, and in doing so, he became the youngest ever Barca debutant in LALIGA history and the fifth youngest of all time.

"It was so many emotions at the same time. When I went onto the pitch it was amazing to see the Spotify Camp Nou. But I gradually got over the nerves and tried to feel as comfortable as possible," he said on the club's official website after making his debut.

"My team-mates helped me a lot too and I'm grateful to them. I am very happy to have broken the record, but I want to break a lot more."

The winger is the youngest player to start a LALIGA match this century. He broke the record by starting the game against Cadiz when he was just 16 years and 38 days old. He also became the league's youngest ever goal-scorer at the age of 16 years and 87 days.
