Goalkeeper David de Gea is reportedly in talks with a new club as he looks to find a team after leaving Manchester United in July.
The Spaniard surprisingly left Old Trafford at the end of last season when his contract came to an end, while Erik ten Hag also wanted to sign Andre Onana.
The Express have now reported that De Gea is now in talks with Real Betis over a potential move in the January transfer window.
The Premier League winner was linked with the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, both of whom had issues in the goalkeeping department, although they both ended up signing other shot-toppers.
The report from ED claims that the LaLiga side have initiated talks with the 33-year-old with the aim of offering a short-team deal, while there are indications that the player is willing to make the move.
De Gea is no stranger to the Spanish top-flight, having 57 appearances in the league for Atletico Madrid before he made the switch to Old Trafford in 2011.
The Spanish shot-stopper spent 12 years at Manchester United, where he won the Premier League, UEFA Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup while he also racked up 545 appearances.
