English giants Manchester United have now issued a statement following reports of a player revolt within the club.
The Red Devils have banned a number of renowned journalists in the country from Erik ten Hag's press conference on Tuesday afternoon, ahead of their mid-week Premier League encounter with Chelsea, according to the Daily Mail.

The club has issued a statement explaining their decision, confirming that they have "taken action against several news organisations not for publishing stories we don't like, but for doing so without contacting us first to give us the opportunity to comment, challenge or contextualise".
"We believe this is an important principle to defend and we hope it can lead to a re-set in the way we work together," the statement continues.
Journalists said to have been banned include chief reporter at Sky Sports Kaveh Solhekol, the Manchester Evening News' chief United correspondent Samuel Luckhurst, the Daily Mirror's David McDonnell and Rob Dawson of ESPN.
Reports suggest that the stories the Red Devils have not taken kindly to were about "player revolts" that is allegedly taking place within the club.
It had been said that players had lost confidence in Ten Hag's tactics and the signings he has made thus far, with some of the playing squad believed to have been unsettled by the additions of £72 million (R1.7 billion) 20-year-old Rasmus Hojlund, £60 million (R1.4 billion) Mason Mount, who joined from Chelsea, and Antony, who cost the club £82 million (R1.9 billion) to bring in from Eredivisie side Ajax Amsterdam.
Some members of the squad were also reported to be upset with the way the former Ajax manager handled the situation with Jadon Sancho, who has been banned from all first-team activities after being criticised by his boss for his work ethic during training.
The Dutch tactician has been under growing pressure following a poor start to the season, in which his side has suffered 10 defeats in 21 games across all competitions.
This is believed to be the side's worst start to a season since it was relegated to the second tier of English football in the 1973/74 campaign.

The pressure continues to mount on Ten Hag after a 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United on Saturday, while the Red Devils also relinquished a two-goal advantage to draw 3-3 with Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League last Wednesday, denting their hopes of advancing to the next round of the competition.
