Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro expressed his delight for attacker Monnapule Saleng, who came off the bench to contribute towards a goal as the Buccaneers recorded a 2-0.
The Buccaneers returned to winning ways with a victory over Swallows at Orlando Stadium, thanks to goals from Evident Makgopa who struck in the first half and second half substitute Saleng, whose solo effort ricocheted off Swallows' defender Sipho Sibiya into the net.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Riveiro expressed his delight with the speedy winger.
"[I am] happy with the contributions from the bench, happy for Saleng, he's not having the best time of his career, but coming from the bench and contributing with a good action that luckily finished with a goal.
"I think it was an own goal, if I'm not mistaken, but for sure it's important for the boy and for us in the future.

The strike would have been only the third of the season for Saleng, who has contributed two goals and one assist in 15 appearances for the Buccaneers this season.
Those numbers are a far cry from the 15 goals and 10 assists across all competitions in the last campaign that Saleng registered, earning the DStv Premiership's Players' Player of the Season award.
