Manchester United reportedly want to offload Jadon Sancho in a surprise swap deal once the January transfer window opens.
The England winger has been exiled from the first team since August after public falling out with manager Erik ten Hag, who criticised the player's training effort.
The 23-year-old has not been able to replicate the football he showed at Borussia Dortmund, where he registered 50 goals and 58 assists in 137 matches.
Sancho is now expected to be allowed to leave the Red Devils in the January transfer window, as the club look to get his big wages of their books.
According to German publication BILD, United are willing to offload Sancho to Dortmund in a swap deal that would see Donyell Malen move to Old Trafford.
Malen has fallen down the pecking order at Dortmund this season and could reportedly be looking to leave next month, as he aims to secure his spot for Netherlands ahead of the 2024 European Championship.
The report adds that the Bundesliga outfit value the Dutch winger around £25million, as coach Edin Terzic has preferred other wingers this season.
Despite making 19 appearances this campaign, Malen last completed 90 minutes for Dortmund in August.
