The Red Devils saw off Saudi Arabian giants Al Ittihad in a 3-1 victory on Friday to book their place in the semi-finals of the esteemed knockout competition.

An injury-time strike by Karim Benzema proved only a consolation for the Tigers as the game had already been decided by Al Ahly goal scorers Ali Maaloul, Hussein El Shahat and Emam Ashour to knock the Saudis out.

The Egyptian giants will now face Fluminense on Monday night in a highly-anticipated match-up between the representatives of South America and Africa, and Koller is confident of victory.

"We are well-prepared for the game, and I believe we can deliver a strong performance against Fluminense," he said in a pre-match press conference, via Ahram.

"Certainly, we have every chance of reaching the final. The game will not be easy, as our opponents share the same objective and also aspire to advance.

"We showcased a strong performance against Ittihad Jeddah, and we aim to maintain our momentum against the Brazilians.

"I have watched some matches of Fluminense, and they are a good team, like the majority of Brazilian teams.

"I have great respect for Brazilian football and its unique style. However, we are fully prepared for the game and determined to perform well."

History, however, might not be on the side of the Red Devils, who have previously played Brazilian opposition on five occasions at the Club World Cup, losing four times and winning only once in those matches.
