Moroka Swallows coach Steve Komphela put on a brave face, despite fans calling for his head over the weekend.
The Dube Birds fans chanted 'Steve must go' after being defeated 2-1 by SuperSport United at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto on Friday. According to Komphela, players did not train for ten days before the DStv Premiership match against SSU in Soweto on Friday.
Swallows were first to score on Friday against Matsatsa ntsa through Gabadihno Mhango in the 69th minute but fatigue took its toll and allowed the visitors to score two goals through Tandamudzimu Matodzi and Etiosa Ighodaro in the last five minutes of the match.

Despite the challenges facing the Soweto-based team, Komphela, speaking to the media in a post-match press conference after the loss, put up a brave face and understands the fans' frustrations.
"They don't know that we didn't train for ten days, so I forgive them. I mean, you can't say anything. Each time we had trained, you see the difference," Komphela told the media at the Dobsonville Stadium on Friday after the match.

"It's a pity they don't know what's happening. They did not know that their players did not train for ten days. So what do you say? You can't say anything honestly and you can't fight back and you just have to take it.
"But if you were to sit down and say what's the problem, why are you using abusive language, why are you insulting me and after that then you tell them because of A, B, C, and say thank you very much and just let to know that we have not been training for the past 10 years and they will be surprised because we did not inform them," he added.
Moroka Swallows will face Royal AM in their next Premiership outing, in Durban on Saturday.
