One of Bafana Bafana's strikers has been ruled out of the Africa Cup of Nations next month.
France-based Lebogang Mothiba underwent surgery on his knee after picking up injury during Strasbourg's 2-1 win over Lorient on Sunday.
The Ligue 1 club have confirmed the 27-year-old will be sidelined for several months after undergoing a successful surgery on Monday.

"Victim of a fracture of the patella of his left knee during the match played by Racing in Lorient on Sunday, Lebo Mothibi underwent successful surgery today. The South African international striker will, however, be unavailable for several months," the club tweeted (translated).
