High-flying defender Siyabonga Ngezana has received a FC24 ratings boost amid his great form in Romanian top-flight, which has also seen him linked with a shock move to France. Here's a look!
The story
According to Romanian outlet Din Tribuna, the 26-year-old has drawn the attention of French outfit FC Lorient following his impressive start to life at FCSB. The former Kaizer Chiefs star only moved abroad in July, but he has since established himself in his new team following his €600 000 (R12.1 million) transfer from the Soweto giants, according to Transfer market.
Having racked up a couple of Man of the Match awards in his first 19 appearances for the club, the Sebokeng-born star has been tipped to make it to Bafana Bafana's final Africa Cup of Nations squad after he was given the nod in their recently announced 50-man preliminary team.

Indeed his amazing form has not gone under the radar, as his new Team of the Week card on EA Sports FC24 has seemingly been revealed. A famous sports influencer called Alex Pontacul that is close to FSCB delivered a card for Ngezana, showing that he now has an overall rating of 82.
The South African player has pace of 80, physicality of 84, defending of 82, dribbling of 53, and passing of 50. Some of these ratings are slightly questionable, particularly his score for passing, but that is for fans to debate.
Ngezana was previously rated at 67 when the game launched, it is clear that the defender has impressed.

Ngezana and Pontacul also appear to be friends of some sort, as a quick scroll through the latter's Instagram profile reveals several images of the former Amakhosi star.
Ngezana's stay in Romania could be short-lived as the FCSB president Gigi Becali confirmed receiving contact over a potential transfer for the four-capped Bafana Bafana star. The chief also revealed that he would be open to selling any player in his team.
"It is a team from France, but they don't price players before they finish the league," Becali told Fanatik.
"At least, let the transfer window come. Every player with me is for sale."
