Goals came from Patrick Maswanganyi and Karim Kimvuidi, while Nduduzo Sibiya scored for the home side.
The win propels Pirates up to third place in the DStv Premiership, just a point behind second-placed SuperSport United and log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, who are yet to drop points this season.
Speaking to the club's media after the game, new signing Kimvuidi who was awarded a career first Man of the Match award reiterated the squad's desire to unseat Sundowns and be at the top of the Premiership.
"Thank you for the award, it's my first," Kimvuidi said.
"I'm happy. Thank you to everyone, thank you to the coach for picking against and thank you to my teammates. To thank everyone.
"It's only the beginning, we are not finished. We will push and we are going to continue to give more good results for the team because we are supposed to go first, be the top one."
