Carling All Stars and Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro says he was impressed with how his team was committed to winning the Black Label Cup.
All Stars were crowned Black Label Cup champions after beating Carling Knockout champions Stellenbosch 2-1 courtesy of goals by Mfundo Vilakazi and Ashley Du Preez.
Riveiro was voted as the head coach of the team prior to the tournament and says his charges were committed to winning the trophy.

"Because they are good, not because of myself, we had two days to at least feel like we're a team and the guys did an excellent job from the beginning," Riveiro told SuperSport TV.
"It couldn't be possible without the co-operation of the Sekhukhune United staff as well, they were doing a fantastic job and helping me with everything.
"Joseph (Makhanya), Thabo, Ryan and everybody, being here alone with a new team and perform, it's not gonna be possible, so it's all about them, they did a good job, they were committed with the possibility to get a trophy which is something special always and I'm so happy for them, especially for the youngsters," he said.
"We competed, they started well, they hit the post in the first action but we didn't shake, the guys showed personality, they showed character, they kept going, decent football overall.
"First half we played well, second-half we managed to control the result very well, happy for the guys, happy for the organization and ja a good day."
The All Stars team had five DStv Diski Challenge players in the line-up from various teams and with the Diski Challenge re-opening next weekend, the Spanish coach went on and revealed that he will be tracking the Pirates players.
"I would try to be involved as much as possible in our club, keeping an eye on our boys, making the space every time we have the possibility, nothing's gonna change," Riveiro said.
"I think the guys proved today that if they have the opportunity and they are in the field, they have shown that they are capable but one day is not enough, they need to be consistent, they need to keep working hard because football is about the last training, the last game.
"They have to enjoy today, feel proud and make a reflection about how much they can do in the future," he added.
