Manchester United have confirmed yet another first team departure in the January transfer window.

The Premier League giants have confirmed that out-of-favour Jadon Sancho has joined Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund on loan.

Sancho had fallen out with manager Erik ten Hag in August last year after publicly speaking out after the coach questioned his level at training.

The England international expressed his delight with returning to Dortmund, who currently sit fifth on the Bundesliga table.

"When I came into the dressing room today, it felt like 'coming home'," Sancho said, as per the club's official website.

"I know the club inside and out, I've always been very close with the fans here, and I've never lost contact with those in charge.

"I can't wait to see my teammates again, go out on the pitch, play football with a smile on my face, prepare goals, score goals and help qualify for the Champions League,"
