Chiefs sees return of key midfielder

Kaizer Chiefs are believed to have welcomed back a key member of the midfield.

Attacker Mduduzi Mdantsane is understood to be back in training with Amakhosi after being sidelined due to off-field problems, insiders have informed KickOff.

The former Cape Town City midfielder last played for the Soweto giants on November 8 during the league match against Cape Town Spurs after spending time away from the club due to alleged misconduct.

The 29-year-old  has returned to training and is raring to go, according to a source close to th club.

"He is back at training with the rest of the team. He has been working very hard at training. He looks determined and fights for his place. He has learned his lesson and put behind all the troubles," said the source.

Mdantsane's off-field problems have cost him a place in the Bafana Bafana squad that is currently in Ivory Coast for the AFCON tournament.

The midfielder looks set to redeem himself when Chiefs and Orlando Pirates play against two Indian sides Mohammedan Sporting and Sreenidi Deccan in a tournament in Durban before the end of this month.
