Phiri spent four seasons with the French side between 2017 to 2021 before moving to Turkish outfit Rizespor. The 29-year-old then returned to France on loan joining Paris FC.
Phiri endured a bittersweet season with the French side, amassing just 17 appearances as his side accomplished a 7th-place finish this season.

After missing out on the first part of the season due to a calf injury, Phiri got his chance to impress in October 2022 and made the most of it, tying down a starting role in the team throughout November and December. His loan spell ended in June 2023.
A return to Guingamp marks a return to familiar territory for the versatile star, who made 88 appearances for the League 2 side.
