An England national team star has applauded Chippa United star Ronaldo Maarman and a few others for their free-kicks in the DStv Premiership. Here's a look!
The story
In an interview with Supersport, West Ham United player James Ward-Prowse was tasked with rating five top free-kicks in the DStv Prem.
These set-pieces included Keagan Dolly against TS Galaxy, Aubrey Modiba against Cape Town City, Deon Hotto also against Galaxy, Gabadinho Mhango versus SuperSport United, and Maarman against Golden Arrows.

Ward-Prowse is certainly the right man to ask given his insane quality over dead ball situations. Boasting a record of 366 matches, 54 goals, and 44 assists in the Premier League, the 29-year-old is famous for his proven expertise converting set-pieces.
According to Premierleague.com, the former Southampton captain has netted an impressive total of 15 penalties and 17 freekicks in the English top-flight.
This stunning record does not even include the set-pieces he has converted in other cup competitions like the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
Ward-Prowse was left really impressed with all of the goals, describing Dolly and Modiba's takes as "nice" and "lovely". Hotto, though, left a more lasting impression for the Englishman thanks to his cross-bones celebration. Ironically, at West Ham that same gesture is the club's Hammer symbol.
Mhango's goal was also well-received but Ward-Prowse humourously remarked at the Swallows player's back-flip celebration. He said: "I don't think I can copy that celebration, the somersault. I'm not that acrobatic but I can give it a go."
Maarman's strike emerged as the favourite, leaving the Three Lions star amazed with the amount of "venom" and "good shape" he struck the ball with.
