Manchester United registered a fourth successive win in the Premier League after edging Luton Town 2-1 on Sunday evening.
Man United retained the same side that beat Aston Villa, as Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho supported Rasmus Hojlund upfront.
The Red Devils had a dream start after Hojlund gave them the lead within the first minute after he dribbled his way through on goal and one-on-one with goalkeeper, Thomas Kaminski, he made a dummy and scored into a gaping net.
Hojlund quickly doubled the lead for Erik ten Hag's charges six minutes later and completed his brace with a finish in the box from a corner situation.
Luton were lying down as Carlton Morris pulled a goal back on 14 minutes with a header from a rebound in the box.
The hosts started to be a threat going forward as eight minutes before the break, Morris came close with a strike from the edge of the box that missed narrowly wide.
As Man United back-pedalled, Alfie Doughty also came close to finding the equaliser for the Hatters on the stroke of half-time with a strike from a similar range range that dragged just wide.
Ten Hag made an attacking change at half-time as Scott McTominay replaced Casemiro and United regained their attacking rhythm as just after the hour-mark, Garnacho forced a save out of Kaminski.
However, the Red Devils were conservative in the closing stages, as they allowed Luton to have more of the ball but in areas where they were not dangerous.
The Dutch tactician locked the game in the dying minutes as he introduced Sofyan Amrabat in place of Hojlund and the visitors held on to their third straight win.
Man United remained in sixth spot on the table, five points adrift of a top-four spot.
