Bvuma sends vow to frustrated Chiefs fans

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper has stood up to make a pledge about the situation that has left Amakhosi sinking deep in the mud after another empty season.

Chiefs will again walk away with nothing to show for their efforts this season following their latest failure in the Nedbank Cup.

With Mamelodi Sundowns already champions in waiting, lifting the league this season would be a hallucination for Chiefs.

The shot-stopper expressed his faith in the team, when speaking at the club's media day held at the Kaizer Chiefs Village earlier today.

"We are very much aware of the trophy drought that we are facing here at Chiefs," admits Bvuma, whose stay in the first team has been sucked into the trophy drought.

Bvuma was promoted at the beginning of 2017 and has not experienced the silverware joy.

"Growing up as a Kaizer Chiefs fan I have seen the club winning trophies and I celebrated those trophies while I was a supporter.

"As a player, it will be great to lift some trophies with the team.

"But right now, I feel like we are in a season of still learning and we are working on it," the goalkeeper said.

"Like I mentioned, we are very much aware of us not winning trophies and we know that for Kaizer Chiefs as a big team it is required of us to bring a trophy or two every season.

"So, we are working hard as team, and we will definitely fix that.

"One thing I know is that this club will definitely get back to where it used to be," Bvuma promised.

"In life you make mistakes and learn from them so that is what I mean by that we keep on learning whether we are winning or not.

"When I say we are learning, I mean we are trying to fix everything that we are learning," he added.
