A CAF Champions League club chief has insisted that South Africa's Percy Tau, who is believed to be in line to sign a lucrative new deal in Egypt, is Al Ahly's most dangerous player.
Ahead of his side's final Group D encounter against the Egyptian giants on Friday evening, Young Africans vice-president Arafat Ally Haji spoke on his feelings about the upcoming tie.

Both teams have already secured their qualification for the quarter-finals of the tournament, with the Red Devils currently in first place in the group with nine points.
The Tanzanian side can, however, still finish first if they manage to beat their Group D rivals on Friday night, and according to Haji, that is exactly what his side plan to do.
"It will certainly be a very important match for us, and for Al Ahly as well, regardless of the position of the two teams, but it will be a strong match, because it will determine the leader of the group," the club chief said, per Yalla Kora.
"Qualifying for the next round will certainly give us comfort during the match, but we did not come to Cairo for a picnic.
"Our goal is to achieve victory over Al-Ahly at Cairo Stadium and top our group."

When quizzed about who he feels is Ahly's most dangerous player, the one who could cause his team the most harm, Haji revealed that it was the experienced Bafana Bafana attacker.
"Al Ahly has many distinguished players in all positions, but the player I liked most is Percy Tau."
With his contract set to expire in June 2025, the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations bronze medallist is said to be just days away from being offered a bumper new deal.
According to Kora Plus, head coach Marcel Koller requested that the 11-time CAF Champions League winners resolve the player's contract situation as soon as possible.

Consequently, the Red Devils are believed to be planning to offer him a lucrative deal that would see him be tied town to the reigning CAF CL champions for three more seasons.
