Klopp answers major 'Liverpool exit U-turn' question

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has now responded to suggestions he could reconsider his decision to leave the club at the end of the season.

The Reds played out to a thrilling 1-1 draw with title rivals Manchester City on Sunday, with the occasion marking the potential final meeting between Klopp and Pep Guardiola in the Premier League.

The German tactician was happy with the result as his side came from a goal down to clinch the draw, which places them equal on points (64) with EPL leaders Arsenal.

With a boisterous atmosphere at Anfield and Klopp in a big smile often during the match, he was asked afterwards if he could make a U-turn on his decision to depart Merseyside in June.

"No, no, I saw, especially in the stadium, a lot of incredible football games that's nothing to do with my decision [to leave]," he responded, according to the Liverpool Echo.

"Obviously, I didn't explain well enough so far. So maybe at one point I will try it again but not today.

"But these games, good games, great games, I met my missus after the game already and she was completely buzzing, so it must be good fun to watch from the stands as well.

"That's why I am not sure if I would miss some things when I am allowed to watch football games, and nobody told me that I have to be a manager to do that, but it was a good game."
