Man Utd star 'wants out' at Old Trafford

A certain Manchester United star reportedly now wants out of the club at the end of the season amid a difficult campaign at Old Trafford.

A raft of changes are widely expected to take place at United following British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe's acquisition of a stake in the English giants. The business tycoon is believed to be responsible for the footballing operations at the club, which includes overseeing recruitment.

As such, a major overhaul has already been mooted in the press, which could potentially see manager Erik ten Hag leave as well.

Meanwhile, several stars have been linked with a departure, including Casemiro and Raphael Varane, as well the the permanent exits of Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho.

However, it is now being reported that midfielder Christian Eriksen has already decided by himself that he wants out at the end of 2023/24 due to his lack of game time this season.

The Denmark international reportedly feels out of favour at the club amid the emergence of Kobbie Mainoo. To add to matters, his national team coach Kasper Hjulmand has also expressed his concerns over Eriksen's lack of minutes after including him in the latest squad for the upcoming international break.

"It is not the best situation as it is right now," Denmark boss Hjulmand said, according to Team Talk. "I really, really hope that changes. I'm pretty sure we'll see a fit Christian. I know he is.

"But it is clear that if it continues, then for Christian it can be like it is with everyone else. There may be a concern about the level you can perform if you don't get more playing time than what it is at the moment.

"I very much hope that it changes. A player as skilled as Christian has to play, and of course we very much hope that things change at United. But not having played anymore is not the best situation."
