Despite the controversy surrounding his true identity and age, Cameroonian star Wilfried Nathan Douala is reportedly set for a move to Europe.
The alleged 17-year-old made headlines for all the wrong reasons earlier this week, after he was banned from taking any further part in Cameroonian domestic football this season due having a "dual identity."
The news quickly travelled, as the midfielder had previously been in the spotlight for being the youngest player at the recent 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Things have since descended into chaos amid reports that Cameroon could face a ban for including Douala in their AFCON team. More rumours have claimed that the player's real name is Alexandre Bardelli, who is over the age of 21.
However, it now appears that Douala's career could is set for new heights, with it said that an agreement is in place for him to move to Europe.
According to Camfoot, Cameroonian outfit Victoria United have reached an agreement with Turkish outfit Antalyaspor for the transfer of Douala. It is said that Victoria president Valentine Nkwain is currently in Turkey.
The Cameroonian club are said to have recently signed a new partnership with the Turkish team worth 300 million CFA francs (R9.3 million).
It is believed that part of the agreement is to transfer and loan players according to FIFA regulations.
