With Brazilian sensation Endrick having announced himself in Europe after becoming the youngest ever male goalscorer in England's Wembley Stadium, here's a look at some of the top teenagers who are set to explode next season.
There's been no shortage of young talent making waves in some of the biggest leagues in the world, with the likes of Jude Bellingham, Florian Wirtz, Xavi Simons, and Jamal Musiala being some of the standout players aged 21 and under.
However, an even younger generation of talent looks to be seeping through, as several teenagers have introduced themselves to elite football this term. Next season, a number of them could explode after breakout campaigns in 2023/24 and fully establish themselves among the best in the business despite their tender ages.

Endrick - Real Madrid
The 17-year-old has been making headlines in the last couple of days, as he scored the winner in Brazil's 1-0 victory over England on Saturday. The forward is set to join his parent club Real Madrid at the end of this season, with the Spanish giants having secured his signature in 2022 in a deal worth €45 million (R923 million) from Palmeiras. Incredibly, Endrick has made 66 appearances at senior club level in Brazil, registering a productive 18 goals and three assists so far, according to Transfermarkt. With three appearances for the Selecao already, many have tipped the youngster to follow in the footsteps of greats like Pele and Ronaldo.
Lamine Yamal - FC Barcelona
Aged 16, Yamal has racked up an astonishing 39 appearances for Barca this season, in what has been his breakout campaign at the club. To date, he has contributed six goals and seven assists, whilst occupying a more prominent role in the team than players like Raphinha, Joao Felix, and the injured Ferran Torres. With reports that Raphinha could be sold in the next transfer window to generate funds, it looks increasingly likely that Yamal could become the undisputed right winger for the club next season and for many more years to come. Moreover, he has scored two goals for Spain in five matches and looks set to be part of the country's 2024 UEFA European Championship squad later this year.
Kobbie Mainoo - Manchester United
The 18-year-old has been quite a revelation at Old Trafford this term, registering more minutes than the likes of Christian Eriksen and Sofyan Amrabat in midfield. His matured displays also saw him earn his England senior national team debut, with many even tipping him to make the Three Lions squad for the Euros. Following his 15-minute cameo for England, Mainoo was showered with praise by Gareth Southgate and he is now widely expected to be a staple in the United midfield for many seasons to come.
Arda Guler - Real Madrid
Nicknamed the 'Turkish Messi', Guler has shown glimpses of his talent in the few games he has played so far although his debut campaign for Real has been plagued by injuries. The 18-year-old is already a regular for Turkey, where he has five caps to his name. Guler is viewed as one of the players for the near future at the Santiago Bernabeu, as experienced campaigners like Toni Kroos and Luka Modric are nearing the end of their time at the club. Having netted his debut goal for the side this month, Guler could finally be unleashed in 2024/25.
Pau Cubarsi - FC Barcelona
The only defensive inclusion on this list, the 17-year-old has been making headlines for being one of the best teenage defenders in the world. So far, he has made 10 LALIGA appearances for Barca and one in the UEFA Champions League, which saw him receive huge plaudits for successfully neutralising one of the best strikers in European football, Victor Osimhen. The teenager also became the youngest defender to make an appearance for Spain since Sergio Ramos, who made his debut for the country aged 18.
