Mamelodi Sundowns' crowning as DStv Premiership champions has left their fan base facing the annoying feeling of not watching their club's moment of glory at home on a weekend yet again.
Sundowns were confirmed as the kings of domestic football for the seventh year running after thumping Kaizer Chiefs 5-1 at FNB Stadium on Thursday.

The Brazilians still have another six league games to play in a season in which they have had several games reshuffled to accommodate their hectic season which had them play what counted as number 50 (inclusive of Moroka Swallows walkover) on Thursday.

From the six league games that remain, the champions play Golden Arrows (May 8), Royal AM (May 11), Stellenbosch FC (May 18), Cape Town City (May 25) and have their rearranged game against TS Galaxy on May 28.
That still leaves one game pending.
This is the away match against Royal AM, which was initially scheduled to be played on May 7 but is yet to be allocated a new date.
It is game that should now be probably squeezed either between May 11 and 18 or May 18 and 25.
The unfortunate part for The Brazilians is that if that happens and based on the fixtures presently on board, the Yellow Nation will have to travel to Mbombela Stadium on a midweek date for their club's crowning.
The PSL presents the trophy winners on the day of their last league fixture and the original fixture had Sundowns playing Cape Town City at home on Saturday, May 25 before the recent changes.
Should the game against Galaxy be the last of the season, it will mean the Yellow Nation has not watched their team's crowning moment at home on a weekend for seven years.

They were crowned champions on a Tuesday last season, lifted the 2021/22 title away at Royal AM, while the 2020/21 title was before empty seats at Loftus Versfeld during the Coronavirus days.
The 2019/20 celebration was also in front of empty seats in the bubble at Dobsonville Stadium.
Before that, the 2018/19 title came away at Goble Park Stadium, while the 2017/18 one was at the Petrus Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein.
