"I started at the School of Excellence, and I went to Platinum Stars U19. I was then promoted to the first team.
"From Platinum Stars, I joined Free State Stars, and from there it was Garankuwa United and Milano United in the NFD.
"I also played for the U20 national team."
My playing days
"I enjoyed my football at Platinum Stars in the PSL because I played most of my games there. I also played a lot of games at Milano."
Did I make money from soccer?
"Obviously in football, you will always make money, it just depends on how you save it. It wasn't as much as players are getting paid right now, but I managed to save."
Where I'm living
"I'm currently in Cape Town."
Jobs since playing the game?
"I retired from playing in the 2016/17 season. I then went straight into coaching in Rustenburg, they had an SAB team called Rustenburg Athletico FC.
"In 2021, I moved to Cape Town. So, I've been there for three years now. But recently I took a break from coaching to take on a normal 8-to-5 job."
My current job?
"Currently I'm working in retail. With the current situation, you don't get paid much as a football coach, and it's difficult if you have a family that must be fed and provided for, hence I chose the 8-to-5 job.

"When I was coaching in the SAB, I was getting R8000 a month. It also depends on your qualifications."
If you could do it again?
"I'd be more disciplined, and obviously I'd be saving more of my money, and going overseas would be my priority, and not be just comfortable playing local football."
