AmaZulu head coach Pablo Franco Martin believes they deserved a penalty towards the end of their game against Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday evening.
Victor Letsoalo netted an equaliser for Usuthu just before the interval after Ashley Du Preez opened the scoring for Chiefs inside the first two minutes.
Martin is normally scathing after contentious decisions by referees but was uncharacteristically calm at full-time despite a strong feeling that they should have been awarded a penalty.

"I was asking him about the handball at the end of the game from our side it looked like a clear penalty and the referee says the positions of the arm are natural, walking normal," the Spanish tactician explained his friendly talk with the referee after the game," Martin told SuperSport TV.
"And I said you walk like this then it's a normal position? But anyway this has happened often, at least he was competitive, there were few more mistakes from all the sides, from the referees, from coaches and players and when you respect each other, even though it's an emotional game, with a lot of heartbeat, I think it's part of the game and at the end we shook hands, we hugged each other and that's all," he added.
Martin went on and gave an overall impression of their season, with two games remaining.
"There's two games to go, we've already achieved the same points as last season, reaching the first objective which is to remain in the PSL, we're still in the fight for the top eight, which I think it's something realistic for us," he said.
"I think we're one of the teams that lost less games in the three competitions, not counting the MTN8. We're not conceding many goals but we're one of the teams creating more goal-scoring chances and more quality.
"Our performance is not only what we did in the PSL but also in the cups, after 13 years we qualified for the quarter-finals, Nedbank Cup, Carling Cup and we had possibilities to qualify, we played one final and one semi-final."
