By the looks of it, the 20-year-old is making quite the impression both on and off the field. On the field, he has managed to make seven appearances in the MLS Next Pro – which consists of 27 MLS reserve sides, with Philadelphia being one of them, as well as two independent clubs.
The former Stellenbosch star has also scored a goal since the league kicked off earlier this year, but will remain keen on cementing himself in the side's first-team setup.
Off the field, Makhanya has been dazzling the club's supporters as well as his teammates with impressive drip they could easily be envious of.

In the most recent outfit he was spotted in, the defender wore an outfit in which all of the clothing items looked to be off-white in colour. From the hoodie and the cargo pants to the shoes, the colour scheme made the outfit look exceptionally clean.
Perhaps the highlight of the fit was the bag he had been carrying. It seemed to be a Louis Vuitton Monogram Unisex Canvas. According to Buyma, the bag costs around $1 500 (around R28 000).
