The top scorer at the recent Africa Cup of Nations has received a six-month ban from FIFA.
The world football governing body confirmed that Nsue was ineligible for Equatorial Guinea's opening two 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in November last year.
The striker did feature in both qualifiers and ended up the scoring the winner against Namibia and Liberia.

According to the BBC, the FIFA disciplinary committee were "comfortably satisfied" that the former Spain junior international Nsue was ineligible for "several" international matches.
FIFA, however, did not specify his ineligibility, but Equatorial Guinea will be forced forfeit both World Cup qualifiers by 3-0 scorelines.
The report also adds that the Equatoguinean federation have been fined $164,000 (R3million) while Nsue has been banned from playing football for the next six months.
Equatorial Guinea were second in Group H, level on points with Tunisa but the ruling from FIFA will see them drop to fifth spot.
This is not the first time Nsue has fined by FIFA, after he was deemed ineligible for two 2014 World Cup qualifiers back in 2013 while Equatorial Guinea's appeal was also rejected.
The Nzalang Nacional will resume their World Cup qualifying campaign against Tunisia and Mali next month.
