Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena says he will not mind reaching out to beleaguered Kaizer Chiefs coach Cavin Johnson ... but on certain conditions.
Johnson finished the season on a poor note after Amakhosi were defeated 2-0 by Cape Town Spurs on the final day of the DStv Premiership at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.
With that, the Glamour Boys saw their chances of playing in next season's MTN8 evaporate into thin air, instead finish in a woeful 10th place on the DStv Premiership standings.
The Soweto giants are expected to announce a new coach in the next few weeks to replace Cavin Johnson, whose term as interim coach is set to expire at the end of June.
Johnson is set to return to the development structures, his initial role, at Naturena next season.
"I will do that personally. I won't do that for headlines. If it's genuine, I will do it personally. I will definitely give him a phone call," said Mokwena when asked if would consider giving the former Platinum Stars coach a call after watching him enduring a tough season at Chiefs.
Mokwena is already preparing for a tough battle next season after guiding Sundowns to the seventh league title in a row last weekend.
The Brazilians finished the season on 73 points after losing only once, to Cape Town City on the last day of the campaign.

"Unfortunately, that's where the bar is set. The bar is set from what it has been this season and next campaign, we can't do anything less and it's going to be very difficult next season," said the 37-year-old.
"Heavy is the head that carries the crown, isn't it? You get blessed with raising the level and trying to get better and better, but at the same time, the responsibility that comes with that is even greater. So, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it at the beginning of next next season."
