Recently sacked FC Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez is now reportedly the subject of interest from one of the Premier League's biggest clubs.
Things ended in bitter fashion for Xavi at Barca, having been dismissed from his role just weeks after he rescinded his decision to resign at the end of the season.

While the Catalan giants have swiftly moved on by appointing German boss Hansi Flick, it is unclear what is next for Xavi, who is widely thought to be uninterested in managing any other club in Spain.
However, a new opportunity could be on the horizon elsewhere, with a club from England is now reportedly considering him as a potential appointment.
According to Spanish news outlet AS, Manchester United have reached out to Xavi's camp to assess whether or not he would be keen on managing them.
This comes in the wake of uncertainty around current boss Erik ten Hag's future in the Old Trafford helm.

A final decision over whether or not a new manager will be hired is expected to come after United's season review, which will determine if Ten Hag stays or leave.
As such, it is said Xavi is in contention for the job in Manchester as things stand, but it is believed his initial thinking is to take a break from football management before looking for his next role.
Moreover, a report by SPORT claims that Barca president Joan Laporta feels remorseful for the way he handled the Xavi situation, with it said the two parties are working on a compensation package for the departed coaching staff.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti was also recently asked to share his thoughts on how things unfolded between the Catalan giants and his departing rival.
"It's part of a coach's job. I think it bothers Xavi a little bit because of what he has done, because I think it is the first time he has been sacked, but with time, I think he will understand it as part of the job," Ancelotti said, according to Barca Universal.
"When there is not a good relationship between the club and the coach, the best thing to do is to separate. It has happened to me many times, it happened to me at Napoli, at Bayern Munich, at Chelsea…"
