While many players may see the off-season as a chance to relax, a AmaZulu star seems to be putting in the hard yards as though he has a point to prove.
Wayde Jooste wrapped up a stunning total of just over 2 000 minutes for AmaZulu across all competitions during the 2023/24 campaign, and seems to not be susceptible to fatigue.

The defender left Orlando Pirates in 2022 before a short stint at Maritzburg United that began in January the following year which preceded a move to Usuthu.
With 26 appearances under his belt in his first season with the club, Joose looks to be readying himself for more.
The player took to social media to share footage of him putting in the hard yards during the off-season, trying to get the edge over his competitors so that he starts next season on the front foot.

The defender could be seen in the gym, working with weights and resistance bands as he looked to strengthen his legs and his core in a manner that not many would be able to handle.
He was also on the treadmill, working up quite the sweat as a result of the intensity he went through.
Accompanying his fitness content was nutrition, an image of one of his meals to give supporters a glimpse into the nutrition patterns of professional footballers which help them fuel their bodies properly to prepare them for the demand that comes with consistently strenuous activity.
