Former Mpumalanga Black Aces and Santos star Marawaan Bantam has pleaded with Mamelodi Sundowns to allow Teboho Mokoena to join a European club sooner rather than later.
The Bafana Bafana star is believed to have attracted interest from abroad following his brilliant performances for the national team.

Bantam, who believes Mokoena should walk away with the 2023/24 DStv Premiership Footballer of the Season award, says local clubs are the stumbling block to South African players realizing their dream of moving overseas.
"This season there were a few players that stood out for me," Bantam says, speaking to KickOff.
"My favourite is Teboho Mokoena, he is a very good player. I know Iqraam Rayners and Ronwen Williams are also there, so it's gonna be difficult for whoever must pick the Footballer of the Season.
"There were a few guys that stood out this season, but I think Mokoena should be the Footballer of the Season.
"I like everything about Mokoena. That man should be playing in Europe. He's got everything that a midfielder needs.
"He's got vision, he's strong, he packs a powerful shot. He must go overseas. His level of football is way too high for our league.
"It's not like we're lacking in talent in South Africa, our boys can easily play in any league there in Europe.

"The problem is our clubs, they charge too much. That's the problem. Let the lads go overseas.
"Let Bafana Bafana reap the benefits our players playing overseas. That will help our national team."
